BAS was an O.E. supplier to MG Rover for its MGF and MGTF hoods before the Rover group went into receivership in 2005. BAS still produce these hoods for the aftermarket, as well as a host of other products for the sports car.

BAS designed and developed this hood in 2002. The original hood was very unsecure, it leaked water into the car between the rear window and the hood section and the plastic rear window became cloudy and scratched very quickly.
BAS have developed a glass rear window upgrade for the MGF/TF that zips straight into the existing hood. No unzipping is required to lower the hood; the glass is encapsulated into the material using the original patented rim system.
