The folding targa section of the Porsche 911 can have just the outer cover replaced. The BAS replacement cover can be made in either the original PVC or in a Mohair upgrade.
The Porsche 911 has a two piece hood consisting of a front section and the rear window section. We can sell these sections separately, however we feel for the price difference both parts should always be changed in order to keep the appearance of the car looking as it should.
The Porsche 911 had quite a small headliner, always black and made from dobby pattern cloth to match the backing of the outer hooding material. Needless to say ours is an exact replica.

The BAS Porsche Boxster replacement hood is made exactly as the original part with a green tint plastic rear window, side cables sewn in and flat turned french seams on both sides.
Porsche Boxster Glass window hood. Porsche produced the original Boxster with a plastic rear screen, consequently the limitations for use are quite high because of “cold crack” and scratching problems, in 2003 Porsche upgraded the Boxster to a glass rear screen, however they changed the pattern at the same time making it impossible to upgrade the old cars with the new hood. BAS has produced a Glass window upgrade hood for this early car with a heated rear window that fits to the existing hood frame and requires no modifications to install. The hood is produced in exactly the same way as the new style Porsche hood only using our patterns for the old style frame, an electrical cable is supplied to plug into the rear window demister socket so that the existing switch on the dashboard can be used to demist the rear screen.

The BAS Boxster 986 Facelift hood is an exact replica of the original part, even down to the encapsulated rear window, BAS is the only aftermarket company licensed to used this patented technology to be able to produce a hood that is indistinguishable from the original part.

BAS International has produced hood exactly as original for the 996 facelift and 997 Porsche.
The existing glass must be reused and clipped into the new hood.
